Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer/Programmer to join our dynamic Creative team focusing on Through Channel Marketing Automation Platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing and programming client marketing assets that drive engagement with both our client’s marketing platform and the users with. This role involves collaborating with our creative and technology teams to develop customized and personalized content using Liquid, a powerful templating language for rendering dynamic content. Key Responsibilities:
- Design Creation and Optimization:
- Develop and support our clients’ visually compelling assets for various marketing campaigns for both print and digital output. Campaign assets to include but not limited to print ads, in-store marketing materials, email templates, landing pages, social media posts and direct mail.
- Ensure designs align with client brand guidelines and overall marketing strategy.
- Customization and Personalization:
- Utilize Liquid and JavaScript to create dynamic, customized content for print and digital marketing output and experiences.
- Work closely with the client success team to understand personalization requirements and implement them effectively in designs.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, development and client account teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaign asset alignment and execution.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas, concepts and solutions for client variable materials and campaigns.
- Quality Assurance:
- Review assets and variable templates for errors and possible solutions.
- Conduct UI/UX testing on designs to determine what works best for different brand segments.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
- Maintain organized files and document design processes for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or Prepress, preferably within a marketing or advertising setting.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Preferred experience with Liquid or similar templating languages for dynamic content creation.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including email templates, web designs, and social media graphics.
- Excellent communication, teamwork skills and an eagerness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript is a plus.
